Lumina Educational Institution is a private educational institution that includes ten schools which provide a high standard of education in English and Romanian for children aged 2½ to 18.
The Curriculum is structured using the quality framework powered by the Romanian Curriculum in ICHB and Spectrum schools and National Curriculum for England and Wales in The International School of Bucharest.
Our first school was founded in 1994 and its profile was informatics. Following the tradition of our schools, we preserved this profile, convinced that informatics is one of the wide areas with applicability in all spheres of activity.
So, International Computer Projects Competition Infomatrix project was born of our desire to bring together the best students in ICT.
Infomatrix is an International Informatics Project Competition organized by Lumina Educational Institutions, the Ministry of National Education, Research, Youth and Sport and ISMB to encourage young people to apply their imagination, their passion, and their creativity to technology innovations that can make a difference in the world today.
The competition is not just about promoting professional excellence, however; it also serves to promote intercultural dialogue and cooperation, through the involvement of students and teachers from many different countries
This year, the competition would like to become more international in dimension and scope. To further this aim, pupils from any part of the world who meet the required skills will be invited to participate.
This year we want to bring more quality Infomatrix and a large participation. To fulfill this wish, are invited to talented students from around the world
